Darnell’s hot hand has carried the Pirates to an 11-1 start this season after a regional final run last winter.

Last week, Darnell helped her team beat Eastern in SOC II action and Vinton Count in a non-league bout to star the new year. In those two contests, she was her usual self, scoring 44 combined points.

For those efforts, Darnell is SOSA’s 15th overall SOC Athlete of the Week, presented by The UPS Store.
