Chillicothe’s Cade Williams earns Division II Special Mention All-Ohio honors

SOSA Staff Report

COLUMBUS — In his inaugural year as Chillicothe’s head football coach, there was at least one constant for Doug Pryor Jr.

Every single Friday, win or loss, he never had to worry about whether or not Cade Williams had left his all on the football field.

Williams, a 5-foot-8, 165-pound linebacker was fierce in the middle of the Cavaliers’ defense and the senior received all-conference and all-district honors for his play.

However, Tuesday afternoon, he collected his biggest honor yet. When the OHSAA released its Division II All-Ohio teams, Williams was a Special Mention all-state honoree, the only Cavalier to receive such an award.
